Private Cancer Care Appointments

How to make an appointment

If you would like to be seen by The Nottingham Oncology Group, whether you have private health care insurance or not, then this can be arranged either by a referral from your GP or through a hospital consultant. You do not need to wait until we have received the referral before ringing to make an appointment, but it will be needed prior to your consultation.

If you are interested, please call and speak to our Practice Manager, Alina who will guide you through the process to help you get the most out of your consultation.

Interested in private cancer care? Take a look at our what to expect page.

Consultants at The Nottingham Oncology Group are very happy to provide fully comprehensive cancer care and second opinions. We can also organise referrals or investigations if you are worried about cancer. Our care is developed around your individual needs so do contact us, to discuss how we might help you.

I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for all their support and friendship over the past 12 months. Listening when I needed to talk, understanding when the tears flowed, and all the hugs when needed. I couldn't fault anything during my stay and you are all "a wonderful team".
